How to play Meia Dúzia
Meia Dúzia is a free, no-signup browser game: you draw a nation, build a monster XI with players who actually played that World Cup, and simulate a whole tournament chasing the historic rout — the half dozen, 6–0.
Step by step
1. Draw. Each round the game draws a nation and a World Cup. In Random mode, every pick hands you a star from a different country.
2. Build the team. Choose the formation and style and fill the 11 — only with players who really took the field in that World Cup.
3. Simulate. With your XI set, the game runs a full World Cup, match by match, with goals, cards and commentary — then hands you the report.
The modes
Random
The classic mode: roll on every pick and build a multinational dream team from stars across World Cups.
Manager
Pick one nation, build the XI and the bench, and make substitutions between matches like a head coach.
World Cup 2026
A separate tournament with 48 real teams: field the official call-up (Escala) or build your own (Convoca) and play the 2026 World Cup.
What is the “half dozen” (6–0)?
“Taking a half dozen” is football slang for a thrashing — six–nil. It's the game's dream scoreline: the goal is to build a team so strong it wins it by half a dozen on the way to the title.
